Richard Seniow

Richard Seniow had an early interest in the piano and started taking lessons at age 5. After studying at the local music school in Vienna he continued to study jazz piano and composition at the Paris College of Music in 2015. After many years of experience as a pianist in the fields of jazz, soul, funk, and popular music, Richard worked with the Viennese synagogue Or Chadasch since 2018. His interest in klezmer and his Eastern European roots made him pursue a path, whereupon he founded the band “the Hawaras” in 2022 and has since been active there as an accordionist and arranger.
